Fair exchange....

We were recently contacted by a lady in Purton, who had a lot of Solid Oak flooring to get rid of. Steve our Secretary arranged a visit to confirm that the wood was suitable for the Shed and was duly picked up and taken to the Shed.

Whilst he was picking up the wood, the lady mentioned that she was looking for a bird table and was wondering whether we could do something you her.

Steve's own words follow;

In light of the wood that she donated, I agreed that it was something that could be done for her for no charge.

Some of the flooring was stuck together for the roof and floor of the bird table and the rest of the wood was various bits we had at the shed.

I have recently purchased a CNC Laser / router and it gave me the chance to try and create something that could be burnt onto the table. I think it turned out OK.

An excellent outcome and definitely a fair exchage. Well done Steve.
