A message from the RWB Shed Chairman:

"
Good news, I have this week had discussions with the senior officers within the Dorset & Wilts Fire Authority regarding a return to the shed. As they see it we are good to return , Albeit without the use of the rest room and toilet facilities etc. I discussed all the preparations that have been made for this return to work i.e. all the PPE requirements and protocols required for our return. After inspection of the PPE Station the divisional officer asked if I could send a copy of all the necessary protocols, posters etc together with a valid risk assessment and COSHE sheets to the station manager for approval.

This was duly done on my return home and I have since had a reply to say that all the paper work has been sent to the DWFRS for inclusion on the sites Covid files and that we could return to the shed.

It is proposed to return to the shed next Thursday 23rd July 2020
"

As part of getting ready to reopen our Chairman Albi has made a PPE trolley incorporating all the necessary items for our wellbeing. Additionally one of the Shed tables has had a new top installed for the placement of power tools.

Various new documents (essential and required reading for anyone attending at The Shed) containing information and required procedures have also be created in a dedicated Covid19 Procedural Documents web page. Please visit this page and read everything by clicking here.
