Well.... The 2022 season was such a wonderful achievement for our Development Team. We played 14 matches and won 12 and lost only 2 achieving a total of 104 points just 11 points behind the eventual winners. With illness and holidays on only 4 occasions did we replace developing players with more experienced players. This was a massive improvement for the teams and means that 3 or 4 will be maybe playing for the Wednesday team during the 2023 season.

The 2021 season saw Thurmaston Bowls Club enter a development team in the North West Triples competition. We finished a respectful 6th with 56 points. The aim of this league is to bring on new players under competative conditions with a view to them playing in the Wednesday League when needed.
