Temporary Pedestrianisation – High Street, Sittingbourne – from 6 July 2020
Tunstall Parish Council
To help achieve social-distancing for economic recovery following the coronavirus pandemic, the pedestrianisation times for High Street, Sittingbourne have been extended.
All vehicles will now be prohibited on High Street from the existing gate near the junction with Station Street to the junction with Central Avenue, Mondays to Thursday inclusive each week between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.
This comes into force from 6 July 2020 and remains in force for up to six months.
Whilst in force, this over-rides the existing Traffic Regulations that prohibit traffic on the above roads.
These restrictions have been requested by and in conjunction with Swale Borough Council, and any enquires concerning this should be addressed directly to them.
