Turweston is a small stone village of great charm on the borders between Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire.

It is situated on a gentle slope down to the River Ouse which runs parallel with the main village street. Most of the village lies within a conservation area and contains many attractive buildings, some of which are listed as being of special interest.  St Mary's Church is situated in the centre of the village and dates back to the 12th century, built by the Normans of stone rubble with stone dressings.  The Church is part of the West Buckingham Benefice and welcomes visitors.
