Action to take if you have had a dangerous experience on Watery Lane

Many of us have had a close shave walking or bicycling along Watery Lane. A few weeks ago, once again, the bridge parapet has been hit by a car and destroyed. It is only a matter of time before there's an injury or worse, with pedestrians or cyclists particularly vulnerable. The Parish Council has been in active discussion with Hampshire Highways about our concerns, and we will not stop pushing this until there is action to reduce the risk. Our objective is to have a speed limit designated for this road.

We need evidence of any events that could be considered dangerous. If you are involved in what you consider to be a near miss or an event you consider to have been dangerous, please complete the form posted below:

https://forms.office.com/r/xdD8qUVgbw

The more data we have the better so please share this with anybody you know who lives in the village or you know who walks on this road.
