Walthamstow Borough Bowls Club is a friendly lawn bowls club located in Walthamstow, east London.

We operate from a synthetic outdoor 6 rink green in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow. The game of bowls is suitable for all abilities and ages and beginners are very welcome. Bowls and tuition available.

Synthetic rinks are especially suitable for those who find heavy grass no longer an option and people who have been advised to be more active.

The club play in three league and cup competitions as well as internal club competitions. All are welcome to become members and join us for a game. Currently annual fees are £40 and we welcome prospective new members to join us on a Monday morning. Because we play on a synthetic rink members can play all year round, which is also useful for grass bowlers at the end of the season.

The club have several community groups who play on the Monday roll up. In 2016 we began sessions with visually impaired (VI) bowlers and plan to run more sessions in 2017.
