The Reid Hall

Wartling Parish Council The Reid Hall

The current Village Hall was opened in 1992 to replace the "Tin Hut" which was destroyed in the 1987 hurricane. The hall was funded by local fund-raising, donations and a loan. (This was before lottery funding!)  The Parish Council, which was then chaired by Hugh Parkes, set up a separate management committee for the new hall. This was the start of the Wartling Village Hall Trust which is a self-supporting charity. Regular events include yoga, Pilates, Ballroom Dancing, dog training, Art Club, Brownies.

There is a separate website for the Hall. Please visit for further details
