There has been a slight change to this. Members who do not yet own a club shirt are encouraged to attend the opening photograph but please wear a white shirt. Also, the club are providing tea and cake so there is no need to bring a plate.

On Sunday 15th April the bowling green will be opened for the new season. The club photo will be taken at 2.30pm followed by a roll-up. Please wear white trousers/skirt and your club shirt (or white shirt). We will be honoured to be joined by Wellington town mayor, Cllr Gary James, and his wife. Cllr James will bowl the 2018 season first wood, followed by President Roland who will then declare the green open.

Please arrive promptly at 2.00pm as the photo takes a little organising. Indeed, I've heard it said it is easier to herd cats?
