The East of Exe Mixed Bowls League is a mixed league with four rinks (fours) over 18 ends and is normally played on a Monday evening (6.15pm), but there is a little leeway in this. There must be at least one lady and man on each rink. Games are straight in with one point scored on the first two ends.

The league consists of the following clubs- Cullompton, Culm Vale, Chardstock, Hemyock, Uffculme, Tiverton Borough, Tiverton BC, Ottery St Mary, Honiton, Feniton and Seaton.

All fairly local apart from perhaps Seaton?

The committee has asked me to canvass opinion to see if it is worth considering an entry next season. Once we have established if there is enough interest the committee will need to take into account other factors such as the Monday Club night and the additional strain on the green. With a decision on whether to apply or not taken before the end of July 2018. Were we to enter, our weekly Club night would be programmed into the Fixture list. Where Monday night was being used for an EofE home game. Club night would be moved to Tuesday (or Wednesday).

If you would be interested in taking part in this league next season please place your name on the list on the noticeboard before 1st July 2018.

By entering your name, you are not committing to playing every week. Simply expressing interest. Last year we didn’t have enough interest from our Lady members in order to progress. If you entered your name last year please do so again if you are still interested.
