Many thanks to all those who expressed an interest in taking part in the East of Exe Mixed League next year. The Executive has directed me to formally apply and our application will be discussed at the League’s AGM on Sunday, October 21st. The league Secretary is quite keen to admit us and does not envisage any problems with our application.

I will need to start making provisional arrangements before the meeting. Most fixtures are agreed in September/ early October, so I will have to review Monday fixtures.

The question of the Club night has been raised should our application be successful. Whether we move it permanently to another night of the week, or just move it when we have a home EofE game is still to be decided.
