Following on from our opening the green for individual play and further guidance from Bowls England I can announce today the following change effective from 20 June.

In addition to singles, we are now able to offer pairs play, subject to Government Guidelines and Social Distancing. At the same time, it is also our intention to open the disabled toilet only. It will be a requirement that if the toilet is used a sanitising wipe will need to be used to wipe the toilet seat down both before and after use and hygiene rules abided by. The normal ladies and gents loos will not be available and the rest of the clubhouse remains locked. Entry to the green remains via the back gate.

In addition to this with immediate effect, bookings need only be made 24 hours in advance and you may now play more than once a week subject to reasonable use.

Please sanitise the mats within the smoking area and not on the green as this could cause burning of the grass. Also please take your wipes home rather than leave for others to have to sort.

If you have any questions or queries please do give me a call.

Regards

Henry
