FUNERAL SERVICE FOR DAVID BRYANT at Christchurch, Clevedon 2.30pm Friday, 11 September

LIVE STREAMING AND RECORDED COVERAGE

Many people have asked if the funeral service at Christchurch (at which, thanks to COVID19 regulations, attendance is restricted to 30 invited guests) will be streamed on the internet. We believe the signal is strong enough for this to happen, and live coverage can be viewed using the following link...

Riverside Recordings will be also be using three cameras to record the event, and will be posting a fully edited version on YouTube on Sunday, 13 September. A link to that will be published in due course.

BBC TV plan to send cameras to record the procession of the Cortege from Pizey Avenue, past the Clevedon Promenade bowls club, along the seafront to the Pier, then up Alexandra Road and Linden Road to the Christchurch, which is only a few yards from the Clevedon bowls club, where David was proud to be a member from 1947 until his death. A tribute to David is expected to appear on the local news programme, Points West, at 6.30pm on Friday, 11 September.

Also on Friday (the day of the funeral), a tribute to David will appear on the BBC Radio Four programme, The Last Word. The programme starts at 4pm, and the DJB bit is expected to start around 4.20pm.

David's family wish to express their appreciation for the overwhelming response from all over the world, and know that David would have been humbled to realise how much he was respected and loved.
