We will be running the new Marking Course at YEOVIL Indoor Bowls Club 35A, Higher Kingston, Yeovil, Somerset BA21 4AS SUNDAY 23RD FEBRUARY 2020 at 9.15 am sharp T\
he course is open to all even if you only want to be a Marker in your own club, it is also the first step if you wish to become a Regional Umpire or EBUA Marker.
The course is normally run over two days but this one will be completed in one day.
There is NO exam, but you will be required to complete all the measuring exercises Food, Tea, Coffee will be available on the day.
The program includes a light-hearted fun “Quiz” & explanations on all aspects of the laws as they relate to Marking a Singles Match and practical work, Green/Time Management including measuring, positioning and communication.
There will be a Certificate of Attendance issued to all attendees and you will also be given a resumé of the day booklet. Cost of the course is £10 and if you wish to go on to become a member of the EBUA then membership forms will be available at the course or from the EBUA Website.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
