A very good first month’s competitive bowling with excellent results in all leagues from all teams.

Somerset Bowls League- Southwest division 1

A team maximum of 36 points from the first three matches.

B team narrow loss in the first match by one shot, maximum points in the second, and no points playing the A team.

Wednesday Exeter and district over 60s triples

All sides have played 4 Matches

A team W2, D 1, L 1 Fourth in the league

B Team W3 L 1 (by 1 Shot) Third in the league.

C Team W 3 L 1 Second in the league.

Well done the C team for being the highest placed in the first month.

West Somerset Bowls League Triples

Only one match played the A team won 12-0 against Watchet.
The C team played the B team, the B team winning 2-10.

Please continue to update your availability for matches as this is crucial in minimising changes once teams have been selected.

For those of you not being selected I thank you for making yourselves available and your commitment to the club. I assure all of you I, the selectors and captains of all teams are asked for feedback, including mixed matches so that we are aware of who is pushing for competitive selection.

I thank you all for your support we have laid the foundations for a good season.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
