24 June – 28 June at the Meudon Hotel, Mawnan Smith, Falmouth. TR11 5HT.

SBA Presidents – Ailsa Midwinter and David Bishop

Ailsa and David would like to invite county and/or keen club bowlers, including spouses, partners or friends, to join us on our Cornish Bowls Tour. We have arranged a 4-night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package with 4 games arranged against local clubs in Cornwall and 1 game in Devon on our return to Somerset.

The 30 room Meudon Hotel has been run by the Pilgrim family since 1964. The hotel nestles in 9 acres of sub-tropical gardens which lead down to Bream Cove, its own private beach. Meudon boasts 4**** and an AA Rosette for culinary excellence.

Bream Cove Restaurant combines fine dining with exceptional views down through the beautifully- planted valley and out into Falmouth Bay.

All bedrooms at Meudon offer views over the grounds.

Meudon is set within a breath-taking, almost Mediterranean valley. Take time to wander under a magical canopy of eucalyptus, 100 year old rhododendrons, magnolia, camelia, Chilean flame trees, fruiting bananas, gunnera (giant rhubarb) and enormous tree ferns. You will be surrounded by hundreds of rare and exotic plants.

Accommodation offered: 14 Twin / Double Rooms

6 Single Rooms

Cost per person: £565.00

This price includes the following:

Half board accommodation at Meudon Hotel.

Cornwall games will be at Falmouth, Newquay (Trenance), St Stephen & Porthleven.

Friday’s match on our way back to Somerset will be at Topsham.

The price does not include your travel to and from Cornwall by car, including Monday & Friday’s games. Insurance is your own responsibility.
