A virtual SBA Board meeting was held today to discuss amongst other items the viability of the SBA County League for 2021.

The conclusion was that due to the many unknown variables in the government roadmap, all league matches prior to Step 4 (currently 21st June) would not be played. After this step, a reduced league will be played but there will not be promotion or relegation within the leagues. The issue of prize money will be discussed at a further meeting.

Clubs are at liberty, of course, to use the “cancelled league fixtures” for friendly games – but that arrangement will be left to individual clubs to determine.
