About
History & Facilities
-
The outdoor section of the club dates back to 1955, with the indoor facility built by members following in 1966. It was one of the first indoor bowls venues in Suffolk.
-
In 2016–17, the club celebrated the 50th anniversary of its indoor bowls facility. Interestingly, the building was a 120 ft × 16 ft sectional structure purchased from an RAF site at Tuddenham, dismantled and reassembled by club members.
-
In 2023, the indoor clubhouse was extended to improve accessibility for disabled players
