Algarve Challenge Trophy

We would like to bring to your attention and that of your members to a Bowling Event which is a first for the Algarve and for Portugal and if successful could be the first of several.

Tavira County Lawn Bowling Club and Colina Verde Golf and Sports Resort (www.golfcolinaverde.com) have joined forces to offer this exclusive event with a total prize value of 5000euro.

Never before in Portugal have flat green bowlers been given the opportunity to play and stay in a total sporting environment for a full week, all inclusive, including all transfers.

This inaugural event will be advertised in the March edition of the Bowls International Magazine but as many bowlers do not have access to a current edition of this magazine I attach a copy of the editorial promoting the event and also a copy of a poster giving details of the competition. We would be most grateful if you could forward these details to your members so they could download and post on their notice boards and possibly make a note of the event on your website and newsletter.

Places are limited to 16 teams of four in any combination playing 2 woods each and we expect this inaugural event to be very popular so entries will be on a first come first served basis. Check the websites for further information and booking forms may be obtained from the details shown on the poster and in the editorial.
