League Suspended - read on!

Dear Club Secretaries, WSBL contacts

I'm sure like me you welcome the return to bowling albeit in a somewhat sporadic state.The WSBL committee has not officially met, instead conversations have taken place about moving forward. The unanimous view is the League will not be run this year, certainly not in it's current format. I've hesitated even as I write and have been on the phone again to Jay, who like me and Bill would be keen for some competitive bowling this summer. SO...food for thought and your response is respectfully requested by next Tuesday 23rd July. How many clubs could enter a single team of nine to play Triples (allowed under Bowls England and Gov regs). Not suggesting any entry fee or prize money, just competitive social bowling which we use the WSBL contacts for. and which Jay and I will work out how to arrange the fixtures. We are thinking a start date of Thursday 16th July. I look forward to your responses.

On last point to mention. All fees paid for 2020 are being carried forward to next year.
