Have you been watching the World Bowls Championships on the television and thought you might like to give the game a try? If the answer is yes have a look through our website, a read of our information booklet and pop along to our Clubhouse in Westcliff Gardens just off the Royal Esplanade, Westbrook CT9 5DS any weekday afternoon between 1330 and 1600 and have a chat with one of our friendly members, who will make you very welcome.
We are often asked what are the benefit of playing bowls. Health professionals will often recommend bowls for people to take up as it helps to provide them with a number of health and wellbeing benefits including: - Improved fitness, improved coordination and skills development, increased confidence and self esteem, enhanced mental wellbeing and community connectedness and support. So, you have nothing to lose and an awful lot to gain.

Membership and green fees are payable using cash or bank transfer (details upon request), if you wish to pay by cheque we require a £0.50 surcharge to cover banking fees. Please make cheques payable to Westbrook Bowls Club.
