Road Closure - Marroway

THE BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(SURFACE DRESSING PROGRAMME) (MAY TO AUGUST 2018)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER, 2018

BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL has made an Order, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in those lengths of various roads in various Parishes in the Aylesbury Vale District as specified in the Schedule below.

The alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closures are specified in the Schedule below.

The closures are required whilst surface dressing works take place and it is anticipated that the works will all take place between 07 May 2018 and 03 August 2018 when signed and will continue for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the said works have been completed whichever is the earlier. The closures will be in place on the days/nights they are signed and between the hours specified in the Schedule below.

The Order will come into operation on 07 May 2018 when the appropriate signs are lawfully displayed. Penalties for not observing these restrictions will be as prescribed by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.

SCHEDULE - “AR” = Alternative route

Bishopstone, Bishopstone from Portway to Marsh Road. AR-North Lee Lane, Risborough Road, Lower Road, Mandeville Road, Churchill Avenue, Ellen Road, Hannon Road, Oxford Road and Portway Road.

Marroway, Western Turville from Wendover Road to Worlds End Lane. AR-Worlds End Lane, School Lane, Aylesbury Road, Wendover Bypass and Wendover Road.

Works will take place under a day time or night time closure.
