We are always looking for individuals or organisations to get involved in our projects. Up to date information on events, campaigns can be found on our Facebook page, but below is a brief outline of our current projects:
Access to Good Food Network
Our AtGF network is currently made up of representatives from local charities, housing associations, academics and the Winchester City Council looking at ways to ensure everyone has access to good food, especially the more vulnerable members of our communities. We are always looking more people to join the network and can help team up ideas/projects with volunteers.
WFP has joined the Veg Cities campaign and will be encouraging people all across Winchester to encourage people to eat more veg. If your organisation or business is involved in growing, cooking, selling, serving or saving veg from waste, then sign up here to join the campaign and promote your projects.
Refill is a national campaign to reduce need bottled water by increasing the availability of places you can refill your reusable water bottle for free. Refill locations are available on this handy app (please note the refill location map on the website doesn't work very well).
Refill Winchester is a co-ordinated effort between Winchester Food Partnership, Plastic Free Winchester, Friends of the Earth Winchester and Winchester Sustainable Businesses.
We are always looking for more people to join us, especially people and businesses who live outside the city centre. If you know of a location that allows you to fill up, but isn't on the map, please let us know.
Email the Winchester Food Partnership co-ordinator Sam Watts via WinchesterFoodPartnership@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer.
