New members

CLUB / FRIENDLY BOWLS

The Club is open every day from 10am until dusk - April until September

Details of Club Bowling events, e.g. Weekend Friendlies, Thursday Friendlies and Indoor bowling events (see our notice boards, web site, handbook and emails).

CLUB GAMES

Monday Roll-up

This starts at 14:00. Please sign in by 13:45 at the latest, there is tea and biscuits halfway through with a charge of £1.00.

Friday night – The club night

This is a full game of bowls, where you are playing for the Friday Night Cup, which works on a handicap system so everyone has a chance of winning. – There is a charge of £1.00 per game. After the game the bar is open and there are sausage rolls available followed by club notices and awards for the best team.
Start times vary depending on daylight hours.
April – 17:30
May, June, and July – 18:00
August, and September – 17:30

Internal competitions

The club runs numerous internal competitions for members. 

On-Line booking

The club operates a on-line rink booking system (not to be used for roll-ups), so members can check rink availability before traveling to the club.

There is a 'Rink Priority booking' procedure which can be viewed via the Bowlr system in the 'Club Information' section and also in the Bowlr section of this web site.
