Yorkshire Farmers Markets
Knaresborough Farmers Market
Knaresborough Farmers' Market is held on Knaresborough Market Place on the third Sunday of every month from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm.
Knaresborough is a quintessential market town with an oldeworlde feel and it has something to appeal to all it’s visitors. It is famous for its breathtaking views of the River Nidd which sweeps the outskirts of the town, providing boating facilities and relaxing riverside walks. A visit to the ruined castle is a must for all history enthusiasts.
Knaresborough is home to England’s oldest attraction, Mother Shipton’s Cave. This is the birthplace of the renowned 15th century prophetess, Mother Shipton. Near to her cave is the famous Petrifying Well where absorbent objects are turned to stone with the passage of time.
In addition to all these attractions, Knaresborough has a wide selection of tea rooms, restaurants and traditional pubs, offering regional home-cooked dishes to tempt the visitors. It’s easy to see why this market town is so popular.
