Digital Governance & Good Councillor Workshop

NALC is hosting a one-day Digital Governance & Good Councillor Workshop, designed to equip both new and experienced councillors with the tools and confidence to thrive in an increasingly digital world.

The workshop will cover:

• Using digital platforms for community engagement and transparency

• Managing online meetings effectively

• Best practice for data security and document management

• A refresher on councillor roles, responsibilities, and ethical standards

The event will be led by trainers from Digital Councils UK (in partnership with NALC), with contributions from Morpeth Town Council and Hexham Town Council clerks.
