First Wednesday Walk - April 2026

Uffington First Weds Walk - Wed 1st April Steventon to Abingdon. We are happy to report that we will now be able to do the walk originally planned for last month - the section of the Vale Way walk from Steventon to Abingdon. Returning by bus. (The X2 bus runs every half hour.) This walk is now wonderfully dry underfoot.

Meeting initially at 8:50 at Uffington Village Hall car park for car sharing and a 9:00am start. We will then drive to Steventon Village Hall car park OX13 6RR where the walk will commence at 9:30. Let us know if you plan to meet us in Steventon, my phone number is below for any slight delays. This walk is 5.2 miles, no hills and no stiles will take approximately 2.5hrs with coffee/snack break. Weather looking good, dry, light cloud, slight breeze and temperature in double figures. Look forward to sharing the walk with lots of you.
