Flood Community Drop‑In Events

Homes and businesses in the local area were affected by flooding during January and February 2026. To support communities and learn from recent events, a series of flood community drop‑in events are being held.

These sessions are being organised by the Environment Agency, Dorset Council, and Wessex Water. They provide an opportunity for residents and businesses to:

• Share their experiences of recent flooding
• Speak directly with the relevant organisations about support that may be available
• Find out how homes and communities can be better prepared for future flooding

The drop‑in hubs are open to all, and residents are encouraged to attend a date and location that suits them.
