The talk, by Phil Burton from the National Trust, will be an insight into the story of the Terry family dynasty who founded their famous chocolate business, renowned for its chocolate treats, in York in 1767. The beautiful Arts and Crafts house and garden, Goddards, was built by Noel and Kathleen Terry in 1927, a house built on "Chocolate and Love", later acquired by the National Trust.

The talk will detail how it all began, how love prevailed and where it led and will give a fascinating insight into the living and working lives of the family that played a vital role in the City's heritage.
