ROAD CLOSURE - SALISBURY ROAD

PHASE 1 - SOUTHERN WATER'S PLANNED ROAD CLOSURE ALONG SALISBURY ROAD

SOUTHERN WATER has advised the Parish Council of some significant road closures when they replace the main sewer which has burst on three occasions in recent years. The upcoming works are planned to start on 30 June, although this is potentially subject to change - we will advise as and when any changes are notified to us.

There are four separate closure events and temporary traffic lights planned. These are summarised on the map associated with this post. The 4 PHASES are:

1. PHASE 1 - 30 June to 5 August - Salisbury Road from Dobbies Roundabout to Balksbury Hill entrance (see FLYER below for traffic flow)
2. PHASE 2 - 6 August to 30 September - Balksbury Hill junction closed from Salisbury Road. (See POSTER below for traffic flow)
3. PHASE 3 - 30 Sept to 14 October - Traffic Lights at Junction of Salisbury Road and Balksbury Hill.
4. PHASE 4 - 15 October to 27 November - Salisbury Road closed from Dobbies roundabout to Balksbury Hill Entrance (see FLYER below for traffic flow).

This post is to alert residents to the closure in PHASE 1.

We will post additional event notices to cover the planned closure for PHASE 2.
