Details

My interest in beekeeping was sparked by the legendary broadcaster Bill Turnbull. What started as a hobby moved on to a couple of hundred hives and a passion for beekeeping that is as strong today as when I first picked up a bee suit. We run a beekeeping company (Hillside House Honey) that we believe shows the diversity of honey and beeswax and we keep using our platform to discuss the plight of the pollinator. We are proud to say that we have received several national awards and, until recently, I was the Chair of Newbury District Beekeepers, for which I have served in different capacities for a decade or so.
