Organised by Al, an early summer weekend away in the Forest of Bowland AONB at the rustic Slaidburn YHA hostel. The hostel, formerly the 18th century Black Bull pub is one of YHA’s oldest hostels and has plenty of rural charm. There are plenty of local shops and services nearby, and the hostel sits in the centre of the village, near to an excellent pub.

Slaidburn is situated in the Forest of Bowland Area of Natural Beauty and makes a comfortable base for both walkers and cyclists. There are plenty of walking routes through the Lancashire Fells and the Forest of Bowland. Slaidburn is also a classic stopping point on the Lands End to John O’ Groats cycling route.

The cost is £100pp with a £10 deposit payable to Dave. Please contact Al first on 07912 947452 to put your name down.
