A guide to adding Google Analytics

With HugoFox, you are able to add your own unique Google Analytics tracker code, so you can keep a check on how many people are visiting your site.

To begin

If you haven't got a Google account, you will need to sign up for one by clicking here.

Once you have registered your Google account, click here to register for Google Analytics.

After you click the Signup button, you will have to enter some information for your website including the options to configure where your Google Analytics data can be shared.

Once you have finished this, click "Get Tracking ID". By clicking this, a pop up will appear asking you to accept Google's terms and conditions. Once you've agreed to them, you will be given your Google Analytics code.

You will now be given your tracking code. Your code will be different from the one shown here, as Google automatically generates it for youu.

Make a note of the code you have been given, and now navigate to the Google Analytics section of your HugoFox website. From this page, enter the tracking code you were given in the previous step, and click Save to confirm the code.

Your code should now be working with your HugoFox website. You can login to Google Analytics and keep a track on your site's traffic at any time.
