Thanks to Chris and Mick Bennett for their fabulous quiz last night which raised £150 for guide dog charities. The whole evening was lots of fun.
We enjoyed a talk by Mick with some funny guide dog antidotes too. He also got resident Gary up, covered his eyes and asked him to try and find the door with just a white cane to highlight what blind people do on a day to day basis.
One of the biggest stars of the night was of course Usher. Not the American R&B singer but the adorable guide dog who seemed to be keeping an eye on me to make sure there was no cheating (photo below).
All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thanks to Chris and Mick and also to Kim who had a busy night of thirsty punters and singlehandedly kept us all watered.
