In celebration of 175 Years of the Castle Line, the Railway Line between Lincoln and Nottingham, a special event is being held on Wednesday 4th August along the railway line.

There is a new history board up at Collingham Station and other stations along the route, kindly paid for by Severn Trent, and the stations will be decked with bunting.
The webpage for the week is now live… this supports the local businesses and gives you information about walks and events: https://www.eastmidlandsrailway.co.uk/castle-line-175-anniversary

The wonderful Lowdham Signal box can be booked on this site too – free but very small so booking essential.
