If you applied for these grants they should be hitting your bank accounts right now.

Lots of people told us they received rejection letters saying their claims were unsucsessful.

We have been working with Basildon Coucnil and the government depertment in charge to try and iron out some of the issues.

One of the main issues has been around receipts for alturnative fuel. Originally the government advised local councils that they can only accept two receipts up to a value of £200. The government changed that to 'up to 10 receipts' but Basildon Council weren't aware of the change. So, we sent them the government's update and they have now started going over the rejected claims and paying them.
