Well we've certainly started our bowls season well. This week-end we played at Avenue, Leamington on Sat 1 May where we had a very enjoyable afternoon, although it started to get a little chilly with a few ends to go. We were however, successful in winning all three rinks, with our best winning rink being Lynne T, Arthur, Roy T and Geoff. Well done to all who played in our first friendly match of the season.

On Sunday we were playing at home and welcomed Bournville. Good to catch up with their players and have a chat whilst enjoying our bowls. We managed to win two rinks to 1 with an overall score of 55 to 38. Well done everyone. Our best winning rink was Jill, Arthur, Bob B, and Adrian. You will notice that Arthur has been in best winning rink on both occasions, so it will be interesting to see who will be playing with him next time.
