2025 Balcomb Trophy Double Rink (Men)

The format of the 2025 Balcomb Trophy competition changes this year with
teams now of 10 players who will play in four disciplines of Singles, Pairs,
Triples and Fours

This is played on a round robin basis with all matches played over a weekend
and all teams playing each other in a Regional final with the winners
progressing to the National Finals at Leamington

This season we are drawn against Surrey, Sussex and Bowls Isle of Wight with
the matches played at Alton Social BC on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May

On the day Hampshire won all three league matches to finish top of the group
and qualify for Leamington in August

Hampshire 24 - 0 Surrey
Hampshire 21 - 3 Isle of Wight
Hampshire 18 - 6 Sussex

We now play against Essex in the semi final at Leamington at 9.30am on
Saturday 16 August

We were given a tough draw against Essex in the Quarter final and despite
both sides winning 2 disciplines we lost the tie by 67 shots to 74
