Over 50 members attended the 2026 outdoor green opening ceremony, with many braving the chilly weather to enjoy a lively role‑up following the club photo and the traditional spider. Spirits stayed high throughout, helped along by a well‑received BBQ served by Pete White, Paul Kelly and Paul Kelsall.

There is free parking in the Leisure Centre car park which is immediately adjacent to the Bowling Club. Wheelchair access is via the ramp at the corner of the green where Corams Lane joins Springfield Road.
