What a wonderful day we had on Saturday 25th February 2023 planting the hedge around the playground. A fantastic collaboration between the Parish Council, the Village Hall Committee and Green Martinstown. Well done and thank you to those 15 people who came and offered their labour, their home-made cakes and their willingness! The playground will look so much better once the old fence comes down.

The hedge on the east side by the road is beech; and the hedge on the north side by the car park is mixed (beech, hornbeam, hazel, guelder rose and maple). It will be lovely to watch them come into leaf in the spring. Well done!
