A Message from SE Water Director of Strategy and Regulation

Addressing your concerns and our commitment to improvement

I’m writing to you because, like many people in the communities we serve, you may be feeling frustrated with South East Water. Whether you were directly affected by the supply interruptions a few weeks ago, or you’ve seen coverage in the media or online, I can understand you may have concerns, and I want to address that.

As you may have seen reported in the news, last month our CEO and Chair separately took the decision to step down, to make way for new leadership with a clear mission to deliver the improvements our customers deserve.

But we know change cannot wait. Myself, all of my colleagues, and the whole hardworking team at South East Water are laser-focussed on delivering a more robust network and a better experience for you all.

I wanted to speak to you directly about the recent issues the network has faced, and to tell you about the concrete steps we’re taking right now to make things better.
