A MESSAGE OF APOLOGY ABOUT MONDAY FROM THE GARDEN & MAINTENANCE TEAM:
Dear members.
Sincere apologies to anyone who turned up to play on Monday.
As could be seen we had some heavy duty treatment on the green that was organised at the eleventh hour as the conditions had to be just so.
To be very honest with you we didn't think it would take as long as it did, so therefore didn't think that a note was necessary.
We started at 6am and the work continued to around 11.
In future we will endeavour to let the members know when work is planned.
