Today, Alexander House is entering an exciting new phase. Community leaders, volunteers, and partner organisations are working together to create a space that reflects Bootle’s strengths, values, and aspirations. Plans are being shaped around wellbeing, learning, social connection, and inclusive support, ensuring the building continues to serve those who need it most.

Alexander House, a cornerstone of community support in Bootle, is inviting residents to join in celebrating four decades of service this October. The milestone 40th birthday celebration will take place on Sunday, 4th October, from 2pm to 4pm at the facility's location in Bootle.

A Four-Decade Legacy

Since its establishment 40 years ago, Alexander House has been a vital resource for the local community, providing essential services and support to residents. The organization is now marking this significant achievement with a community-wide celebration that promises to be a memorable occasion for all who have benefited from its work.

What to Expect

The afternoon event will feature a variety of attractions designed to appeal to the whole community. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments while mingling with friends, neighbors, and fellow community members. A raffle will offer the chance to win prizes, adding an element of fun to the festivities.

Entertainment will be provided by the Phoenix Singers, who will perform live music throughout the celebration. The relaxed, inclusive atmosphere ensures there's something for everyone, regardless of age or background.

All Welcome

True to Alexander House's inclusive values, the celebration is open to all members of the community. Whether you've been connected to the organisation for decades or are simply interested in celebrating a local institution, organisers emphasise that everyone is welcome to attend.

"This is a chance for our community to come together and recognise 40 years of positive impact," the organisers noted.
