Thanks to everyone for an amazing Race Night last night

Rather than hire a company, we purchased our own screen and projector so we can run these events regularly without the costs. The big screen will always be useful for other things like karaoke as well.

Big thanks to everyone for helping including,

Mick and Julie - our entertainment team who put it all together and hosted/presented the evening. Days of preparing and organising didn’t go unnoticed.

Sheila - who always does so much like working the door, checking people in, making the posters and all those amazing race cards, helping all tote helpers with the money. She’s an all-round diamond on the committee.

Graham - our tic-tac man (or kit-kat as Gary would say).

Ali - who did a wonderful job in her counting house working out the odds and paying the winners.

Carol, Pat Moore, Laurie, Julie, James and Gary for doing stints on the tote (Carol didn’t even get a ciggie break).

Also special thanks to Pat Moore for sponsoring the rosettes and trophies.

Thanks to all the committee members who helped setup/clear up, especially Lynda who seemed to be a busy bee all evening.

Well done to Margaret who was the overall winning owner with her horse Bad Boy.

Thanks to everyone for coming along and we hope you enjoyed the evening. We raised money for the Alzheimer's Society and the residents’ association (final figures soon - but we’ll give our treasurer a well-deserved Sunday off).
