Malmesbury "A" lost by one shot to Cam Mills "B", 49 to 48. So despite winning on two rinks, the "A" lost overall with 4 points only.

There was gloom and despondency in the clubhouse after the game. However, today, we wake up to the good news is that Cirencester "A" and Nailsworth Mills "A" both lost, so Malmesbury "A" went up by one place.

This means that Malmesbury "A" go into the last game of the season with a realistic chance of promotion. They must have a good win at Wotton under Edge "A".

Cirencester "A" are away at Cotswold "A", both teams could be promoted as well. Fairford "B", already promoted, play Nailsworth Mills "A" who have a chance of promotion as well.

Malmesbury "A" have to win 8-2 or even better 10-0 to be promoted, provided the other matches result in Cirencester "A" and Nailsworth Mills "A" losing. All three rinks will have to play well and beat their opposite numbers.

Good Luck !
