Alveley and Romsley Parish Council Community Recognition Award Scheme

The Award Scheme is an opportunity to recognise people, organisations and businesses who have made an outstanding contribution to the community of Alveley and Romsley or achieved something special for the area. Only people who are resident in the Parish can make a nomination and if you are over 18 years of age, you must be on the electoral register to make a nomination.

The person, organisation or business being recognised does not have to be a resident or operating in the Parish, but they must have completed their good works within the parish. Councillors will consider nominations at a full council meeting on the 7th March 2023 as a confidential item. Nominations should be received by the Parish Clerk no later than 5th March 2023. Certificates of Community Recognition will be presented at an extraordinary meeting on the 20th April 2023.

To nominate a local unsung hero who makes an exceptional contribution to the community simply email, write to or telephone the Parish Clerk and tell them who you are nominating and why you feel their nomination deserves the recognition.
