Annual Ladies V Gents Match 16July23

Sunday saw the annual match, ladies versus gents being played. The trophy is always hotly contested but played for in a fun and friendly atmosphere. This year, again, the weather was kind to us, we all stayed dry, not much sun and lots of strong wind interferance ( the reason for some of the men's poorer shots!), a true british summer day. It was fun, we had some of our new recruits out playing, all looking very smart in their club uniform. The ladies declared before the match they were going to win, and WIN they did; well done Milford Ladies!

After the match we retired to the club for some celebratory / commisoration drinks, John Everest presented the trophy to Helen Burgess. We finished off with a great raffle and then an indoor picnic .
