Annual Parish Meeting - Cancelled

Unfortunately the Council decided to cancel last night’s Annual Parish Meeting, due to the COVID restrictions in place.

When the date was selected, we had hoped that there would be some further relaxation in the rules governing indoor meetings but unfortunately this was not the case. As a result, if the meeting had gone ahead only a select few would have been able to attend which would not have been in the spirit of the meeting. We intend to arrange another after the 21st June when we are able to meet under more normal circumstances.

When the new date and venue is known, we will publish the details widely to encourage attendance. It is especially important after the year that everyone has had, to maximise opportunities for people to get together and share their thoughts and feelings – and sadly this would not have happened had we continued as planned.
