You are warmly invited to come along to the Annual Parish Meeting.

The Parish Council are looking for ideas from residents for improvements you would like to see in the village. For example - It might be traffic calming in your road, it might be flower pots. Maybe something to stop people parking on the verges. No idea is a daft idea!!

When developers build they have to pay a tax to the planning auithority (called Community Infrastructure Levey- CIL) some of this money is paid to the Parish Council. Before we had a neighbourhood plan it was 15% of the CIL collected, but this was capped at a maximum no matter how much the developer paid to Wealden. Now we have a neighbourhood plan the parish council is paid 25% of what is collected and there is no maximum cap.

There will be a light buffet and a glass of wine available. We will also be running a prize draw. Every resident who comes along will receive a ticket . The draw will be made during the evening - if the winner is not in the room the prize will be redrawn.
