I think all players, and spectators from our Club will agree it was lovely to see our bowling friends from Stratford-upon-Avon, and have an enjoyable and competitive game of bowls.
It was, once again, a very close match, with the Muni winning 4 rinks to 2 and 94 shots to 90. Well played everyone.
We had two best winning rinks of Pauline Mantle, Ron Robinson and Chris Wright plus Arthur Windmill, Lynne Jones and Mark Williams. Good job I took enough 50th Anniversary pens for them.
This means we managed to win both Home and Away matches this season, albeit by a short margin on both occasions.
Some of us finished the day by going for a meal at the Drum & Monkey, Dorridge. Whilst there was a lack of Roast meals still available, we had an enjoyable meal and get together. Cheers everyone.
